Friday after work, a long table at a restaurant, and a conversation that drifts back to projects and deadlines within fifteen minutes? Team building in Poznań doesn’t have to look like that. At Create Cafe you swap work emails for paintbrushes and good coffee — and you leave with more than a few photos on your phone.
Dinner, bowling, an escape room — each of these has its fans and its charm. But when the team is bigger and more diverse (newcomers and veterans, introverts and extroverts, different ages and fitness levels), the same problems keep coming back:
A good team event has three qualities: everyone can take part, you can talk freely, and it leaves behind something that reminds you of that evening a month later.
Swap work emails for paintbrushes and good coffee.
Before you decide, take a look at what teams usually choose. Below is our subjective overview — from the point of view of someone who has to please everyone at once.
| Idea | Can everyone join in? | Easy to talk? | Do you get a keepsake? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dinner at a restaurant | Yes | Yes (mostly about work…) | No |
| Bowling, paintball, team games | Depends on fitness | A little — the score matters | No |
| Escape room | Yes, but for smaller groups | About puzzles, not about life | No |
| Cooking or craft workshops | Yes | Yes | Depends (food disappears) |
| Pottery painting at a café | Yes — no talent needed | Yes — over coffee, no rush | Yes — your own mug or plate |
Of course this is a simplification — good organisation can save any idea. But if you’re looking for a format that combines conversation, relaxation and something of your own to take back to the office, pottery painting is hard to beat.
Create Cafe is a cosy ceramics café in Poznań’s Old Town (Wielka 8), where employees rest from their screens, create together and go back to the office with real memories. Artistic experience? Not needed. Our whole company events offer in Poznań comes down to four simple steps:
Over 70 shapes: from favourite “office” mugs to bowls, plates and vases. You can browse the available shapes on our website before your visit — so the team decides what to paint before sitting down.
At every table there’s a QR code with tips and an inspiration gallery, and at the paint bar all the colours are ready to use. Our crew is always nearby when you need to pick a shade or rescue an “unfortunate” line.

While you create, we serve aromatic coffee, matcha latte, signature and seasonal drinks and delicious sweets — every package includes a drink for each participant. Over coffee, the conversation drifts to very different topics than in the open space.
You leave your creations with us, and we glaze and fire them in the kiln. After 5 days everyone picks up their own, fully usable ceramics. We keep finished pieces for 2 weeks, so nobody has to rush for pickup on the first possible day.

It’s the question every organiser asks, so we’ll answer plainly. Prices include VAT, and each person’s price covers a ceramic piece of their choice (from 105 zł) and a drink.
| Team size | Space | Price |
|---|---|---|
| up to 8 people | A table in the main room | 145 zł (Tue–Thu) 160 zł (Fri–Sun)per person |
| 10–25 people | Private Glass Room or half of the café | from 1450 zł for 10 peoplefurther guests 145–160 zł |
| 25–47 people | The whole café, exclusively yours (2.5-hour session) | deposit from 5220 złfor up to 36 people (+ 145 zł per additional person) |
Extra costs — for example additional drinks, desserts or a larger ceramic piece — are settled on site.
Perfect for a smaller team or a department’s low-key get-together. You sit together at your own tables, yet right in the heart of the café’s buzz.
We have a separate, intimate room that’s ideal for larger groups, so your team can celebrate in full privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. And if your group is bigger, you can book half of the café instead of the room.

The whole café just for you — an option for bigger events, company anniversaries or a whole-department get-together. The session lasts 2.5 hours, with one instructor for every 15 people.
It’s October, and in HR calendars December already smells of gingerbread. A company Christmas party is a perfect moment for a format that doesn’t end with a gift lottery. At Create Cafe you can paint holiday mugs for mulled wine, bowls for nuts or little plates for gingerbread together — and take them home or back to the office.
The same idea works for company birthdays, welcoming a new team, a quarterly wrap-up or an evening for clients: it can be a team meeting, a shared celebration or simply an evening out of the office.
December is the season when everyone plans team events at once, and a private room is best booked at least 3 weeks in advance. The earlier you write, the wider the choice of dates.

We host groups of 4 to 47 people: from tables in the main room, through the private Glass Room or half of the café, to hiring the whole café exclusively.
No. Most of our guests are painting for the first time — and that’s exactly why we’re here. Every table has a QR code with tips and an inspiration gallery, there’s a paint bar with every colour, and our team is close by.
For up to 8 people: 145 zł (Tue–Thu) or 160 zł (Fri–Sun) per person. For 10–25 people: the private Glass Room or half of the café from 1450 zł for 10 people. Write to poznan@createcafe.eu — we reply within 1–2 working days. A private room is best requested at least 3 weeks ahead. The date is confirmed by a 400 zł deposit (non-refundable if you cancel).
After the deposit, you can pay the rest by card on site — we issue an invoice after payment — or upfront for all participants. Extra costs (e.g. drinks, desserts or a larger ceramic piece) are settled on site.
After 5 calendar days from your visit. We keep the pieces for 2 weeks. Pickup is available during the café’s opening hours (closed on Mondays); we don’t offer delivery.
In private rooms you may bring only a cake — we’ll provide plates and spoons. There isn’t time for additional food, so we don’t allow it, and alcoholic drinks may not be brought in. In the common area, outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Yes. We use Stroke & Coat® — high-quality ceramic glazes that are food-safe and non-toxic, and look even more beautiful after firing.
Tell us how many of you there will be and when — we’ll reply within 1–2 working days with a package proposal and available dates.
